Ready Player One Is Stirring Up #DorkTwitter Chaos
We don’t really know why a growing army of hate-everything dweeblings are outraged over an upcoming Geektravaganza MADE FOR THEM but we do know Ready Player One (March 29th) looks awesome, especially if you love ’80s/’90s pop culture nostalgia. Now, from what we gather, the issue stems from the flick’s “exploitation” of beloved nerd culture (despite its seemingly good intentions) but we fail to see the problem nor do we recall this same energy when Wreck-It Ralph dropped. Dah well, the internet is gonna internet.
