Poon-Thirsty Cop Faces Consequences After Sex With Witness In An Active Case

Before the force could sting Cassidy, he chucked the deuces to his job himself.

“It is alleged that former SC Cassidy breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in relation to Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct,” said the police website. “He has since resigned from the Force. The charges were proved and the officer would have been dismissed without notice had he still been a serving officer.”

Cassidy didn’t get away free with his witness love affair however.

He is now banned from getting a job with any other police force in England and Wales.

After the case, Detective Superintendent Simon Bottomley had a few words for the potentially messy. “Officers and staff should not form physical or emotional relationships with people they meet as a result of their work,” he said. “Whether that person is a victim, suspect or witness to a crime. The behavior of this special constable fell below the standards that the Force expects.”

And with that, may the words of Bottomley echo in the ears of officers everywhere and may shlongs be left in the po po pants.
