We couldn’t pass up on an opportunity to ask Chloe and Halle about balancing their TV duties with their musical responsibilities and you know we had to ask them if Beyoncé has been tuning in.

“We’re just so happy for the show because we actually got to put music in it all last season and we wrote and produced the theme song,” Chloe told BOSSIP. “That was exciting because it was around the same time we were putting out our album “The Kids Are Alright” so it was released with the theme song and honestly when we wrote those lyrics for the theme song we were just writing it from Zoe’s perspective, but from that moment every time we performed the song, it was like we were speaking of our lives and we just got off tour actually, the “On The Run II” tour and we started filming the new season on the later half of the tour and that was a lot of work. It’s been a lot of flights, but when you love something and have a passion for it you can do anything and I’m happy that the two go so well hand in hand with each other. Right now we’re making music in the trailers so going back home after set and recording in our living room, so doing double duty.”

“In terms of juggling, it doesn’t really feel like you’re working when you are doing two of your favorite things,” Halle seconded. “We just go with the flow and try to really make it.”

“Wait, who’s going to answer the Beyoncé question?” Henry interjected.

“She’s so happy for us and she likes it,” Halle added.

“Yeah Luka [Sabbat] ran into her other day he was telling us and he said, ‘Hey I know Chloe and Halle,” and she was like ‘I know!” Chloe told BOSSIP.

Fun stuff right? Do we even have to ask if you’ll be watching when “grown-ish” returns January 2? We’re pretty sure the answer is an enthusiastic yes!
