Happy belated birthday Jigga man! Yesterday was December 4th, Jay-Z’s 49th birthday, and it would be remiss to not mention how much the mogul has helped open doors for folks in hip-hop and also that he’s an evolved man over the years. His mother-in-law Tina summed up perfectly how she feels about Jay-Z in the sweetest birthday shout out on her Instagram feed.

I have witnessed your loyalty to all of your friends, some from childhood if only we all could be so supportive of our friends and share a mutual love and respect for each other like you and your amazing friends. You have done so much for our Culture, Thank you for that! I could not be more happy to have you in my family and could not be more happy to be in yours.
