Sandra Bland Recorded 2015 Traffic Stop In Never Seen Video

The story of Sandra Bland is one of many that sparked a fire in the national consciousness during a particularly tense time in 2015 when videos of police shootings and brutality felt like a daily occurrence.

Until today, we were under the impression that the only version of events that led to Sandra Bland’s death was recorded by the arresting officer’s dash cam. We were floored to find out that Sandra Bland herself ALSO recorded the interaction with the cop in a never-before-seen video that has now surfaced via WFAA.

Sandra’s family had never seen the footage and are now calling for her case to be re-examined on this basis.

“Open up the case, period,” said Bland’s sister Shante Needham said when shown the video.

Needham and other Bland family members believe the video was intentionally withheld.

“We also know they have an extremely, extremely good cover-up system,” Needham said.

Bland’s lawyer, Cannon Lambert, was SHOCKED when he was shown the video for the first time. Almost like he’d seen a ghost. Check his reaction in the video below.

We hope something can be done to provide justice for Sandra Bland and her family in light of this new evidence.
