Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals Prior Porn Addiction

Jada Pinkett Smith is never one to shy away from controversial topics on “Red Table Talk” and her latest episode was no different. The actress spoke candidly with her co-hosts; her daughter Willow Smith, and her mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones, on the effects of porn to a relationship.

According to Jada, prior to meeting her hubby Will, she had an addiction to skin flicks. Mind you this was back in the days when you couldn’t watch it online, only on VHS tapes.

“If I was still on my porn game, I’d be able to show you some good porn,” said Jada. “Back in the day I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn’t in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness.”

She later walked back the “addiction” statement and softened it to say she had an “unhealthy relationship” with watching people get smashed to smithereens that coincided with her being abstinent.

“And maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence,” she explained.

Listening to your mom casually chat about strumming the banjo out the strings isn’t awkward at all, right Willow?

Willow also chimed in on the convo and revealed that she started watching porn at 11 after discovering it on flesh filled website Tumblr (R.I.P.). According to mom Jada, she once perused around her daughter’s Tumblr account and couldn’t believe her eyes.

“I remember the first time I went on Willow’s Tumblr, she was 10 or 11,” the Girls Trip actress said. “She was very matter of fact, she said, ‘I’m going to my Tumblr page but as we’re going to the Tumblr page you’re going to see a lot of stuff. This has nothing to do with me.’ So she’s just scrolling, scrolling. And when I tell you I saw some of the most hardcore pornography on Tumblr…”

“I can’t believe kids are being exposed to this on a daily basis,” she added. “I was profoundly disturbed.”
