Kelly Rowland Gets Candid In Red Bull Music Session
Kelly Rowland got candid recently about how it feels to be compared to Beyoncé.
Red Bull Music Studio Session is a series where handpicked producers and songwriters are paired with artists of all genres. In their recent episode, Kelly Rowland was picked to work with songwriters pineappleCiti, Alex Saad, P. Wright, Jordan Douglas, and producers TWhy Xclusive, Lord Quest and Fabian Mazur. While getting warmed up to the talented crew and sharing song concept ideas, Kelly revealed what drives her emotionally.
“The elephant in the room for me has always been second best. That’s actually the first time I’ve said it out loud.”
Kelly said she felt comfortable enough to say it, even though it shocked her. Hit play at the 2:07 mark to see it.
The crew took what Kelly was feeling emotionally and they came up with an original song called “Don’t You Worry.” Hear it on the flip!
