Indie Black Film Alert: “Rent Due” Releases Official Trailer And Movie Screenings For Select Cities
Rapper turned film producer Ray Jr. is an East Cleveland born legend in his own right and now he’s getting his Master P on! Ray Jr. migrated from Cleveland, Ohio into Atlanta, Georgia just last year and now he has a film finished. The Legit Paper Ent. boss just released the trailer for his first independent movie “Rent Due”.
“Rent Due” is about 2 cousins who need to devise a plan to pay the rent, ASAP. Ray Jr plays Reggie, who happens to lose his home, girl, and job in the same day. His cousin Top, who is played by William Dobbs also having a rough day cause he was robbed of his rent money by some random strippers.
The film features some familiar comedians such as B. Simone, Shiggy, Ha Ha Davis and Watch Jazzy.
Screenings for “Rent Due” are happening in select cities, including Cleveland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Cincinnati starting in August. Get your tickets here!
