A source close to the couple says Nick Cannon is upset that his wife Mariah Carey is successful in acting because that’s his career path. When the two wed in 2008, Mariah was focused on music and Nick on acting, so Nick felt the two would be able to still support one another’s careers without stepping on each others toes. But lately Mariah has been crossing over into Nick’s path making him feel like he’s living in her shadow of stardom. The source goes on to say that Mariah’s new acting success has gone to her head a bit and she makes Nick feel beneath her at times.
