We all have heard about the underlying racist law that Arizona is trying to pass to protect its borders but now the Immigration debate is allowing police in various states to execute questionable “search and seizure” to any Hispanic that they presume “illegal.” Pop the hood for details on how this issue has crossed the border into other states

Georgia can now be added to the list of states acting shady toward immigrants!

Hall County police arrested 25-year-old Josue Castro May 25 after being caught fishing! Reports state that Castro was fishing when police asked for his license. When Castro could not provide one, he was arrested and his status was checked. Hall County has recently turned the case over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Castro is currently facing deportation and is still in jail.

What makes the situation even more fu*ked up is that Castro is married to an American citizen and is employed. Castro sends the money he makes at his construction job home to his native Honduras every month to help his family. What justice is there in deporting this man? If an alien marries an American citizen doesn’t that make the alien an American citizen? And even if it doesn’t, why are Georgia police arresting folks fishing at Lake Lanier for not carrying a license on them?! What have Latinos done to cause so many ruffled panties in America?

Is the immigration craze justification for stereotypes and modern day racism? Or, is it the “lawful” thing to do to “protect” Americans?
