Rihanna spoke to BBC Radio 1 this weekend while in London and the hosts got all in her business. We think they must’ve checked BOSSIP beforehand because they asked her about her nickname “Rih Rih,” posing naked on the cover of her “Only Girl (In The World)” single art and being engaged to Matt Kemp.

One thing she may regret saying though, was that her new album is unmistakably “Rihanna” and couldn’t be mistaken for some “generic pop” record folks like BFF Katy Perry make SMH.:

“[Loud is] just the perfect Rihanna album. Every song is tailored to me. I wanted songs on there that were all Rihanna songs, that nobody else could do. I didn’t want the generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry could do.”

Listen to the interview below:

And Katy’s getting it from all sides right now because ex-boyfriend Travie McCoy also recently responded to her dissing with him that jawn “Circle The Drain”.

Speaking to MTV News, he said: “I heard she put out a song that’s about me, or about some old habits or whatever.

“[And] I look at it like this — I’m just stoked that she finally has a song with some substance on her record. Good job.”

OUCH… So your best friend thinks you make “generic” music and your ex says your stuff has no substance. Poor Thang!
