SMH: Brett “Pop Pop” Favre Needs To Just Throw In The Towel
Brett Favre “doesn’t know” if his career is over after concussion and getting his behind beat by the Chicago Bears:
When asked by a reporter post-game if he would play again, Brett Favre responded, “based on my decision making I probably shouldn’t tell you one way or the other right now.”
Favre left the door open at the beginning of his post-game press conference, but answered questions as if he’d played his last down. Coach Leslie Frazier didn’t shed light on the nature of the head injury, though Favre hinted that it was a concussion. He’s shown time and time again that he’ll play through any injury, but there’s a good chance he’s thrown the final pass of his career.
Please, Brett Favre, please spare us all and R-E-T-I-R-E. Let the youngins with the strong legs and healthy bones take all those hits.
Poor thang….what do y’all think??? Should Old Man Favre give it up, or keep on truckin until the wheels fall off???
