Yesterday, we gave single moms some love. You didn’t think we’d forgotten about the men out there raising kids on their own. Here are 10 celebrity single dads that deserve a high five.
Dwyane Wade – When he’s not chopping down Gabby Union and lubing up LeBron before games, he’s raising his two sons as best he can. Even in the midst of a nasty divorce and a scorned baby mamma, Wade keeps the kids first.
Al Pacino – Yup, Scarface himself is a cuddly dad on the inside. He raised his daughters and played a bad a$$ on the big screen. That’s some serious acting skills.
Common – Common’s shouted his daughter out a few times on wax, but we’ve never really seen them in public too many times. We wonder how she dealt with Common and Serena’s little love fling a while back.
Colin Farrell – We never thought this beer-guzzling, chain-smoking bad boy would be allowed to have a child on his own, but Farrell seems to have calmed down enough to handle his. Being a single dad probably gets in the way of all that tail he used to get, though.
Cristiano Ronaldo – Nobody cares about soccer, but ladies across the world care about this heartthrob. He recently just told his baby mamma to stay away from their kid, so he’s prepared raise the son on his own. We bet that only adds to his sex appeal.
Ricky Martin – Remember him? Ricky Martin, who’s totally not gay, is raising two kids all on his own. It shouldn’t be too tough since he has all kinds of free time not being important anymore.
Usher – Usher had one of the ugliest public divorces we’ve seen. Despite his jerk-hole-ness towards his ex-wife, he’s still holding it down as a father. They seem to always be in public together, doing father-daughter fun. Isn’t that sweet.
Eminem – Who would have thought that Eminem would be stable enough for daughters? Not only is he raising his own, but he adopted another little lady. Now that he’s sober, Em is more like Bob Saget than a hardcore rapper.
Lenny Kravitz – Lenny may have all of these guys beat. Not only did he raise a daughter, he raised another pop star that’s bound to keep his millions rolling in. That’s being very dadtrepreneurial.
Jamie Foxx – Jamie Foxx seems way too raunchy to be going home to an impressionable teenage girl, but somehow he pulls it off. We’re not sure what their home life is like, but Jamie takes little Corinne on every red carpet. She’s definitely getting the star treatment.
