RihRih Says Beatdown Gave Her Liberation: ‘I Needed That In My Life To Know How To Say Fawk Off!’

- By Bossip Staff

Rihanna also briefly touches on her break up from Matt Kemp saying:

“I just kind of shut down from that,” she says. “I just let it go. I don’t ever want to have to depend on a relationship. I think it’s a really special thing to find love. It’s beautiful. Nothing can match it. But I want to make sure that I can find other things in life that I love besides … love.”

oh bs rihanna the only thing that beat down did was give you a black eye

  • itsbrittneybitch

I’m tired of hearing about her beating. But I know shes gonna ride that coattail for many more years.

Yeah, I’m wondering why this is still news. It was unfortunate, but we’re now 2 years in…Chris paid his dues, and is now trying to bounce back, and Rihanna has reaped more fame in the process of this whole mess. Life is short; let’s move on.

WTF is she actually condoning this. black women are the biggest suffers of domestic violence. and shes making black women look retarded.

    Y’all jealous h..o..e..s  grow up

  • JustAshley

I don’t think she’s condoning this. I think she just learned from it. At least I hope she has…

Sidenote: I told ya’ll she had major daddy issues. Its why she acts all hyper-sexual and dresses super provocative.

Getting your @ss whooped liberated you…

As much as I want this topic to go away, it won’t. The funny part is that both of them are trying to keep the situation relevant by always screaming and whining about how they’ve moved on from it. Ohhhhkaaaaaay. The whole world and everybody in it except you two have moved on (excluding the Rihanna stans and Chris groupies). Both of them need to get together and just f*ck so they can stop being babies.

i’m tired of hearing about it, but maybe it will take time for her to get over it. p.s. she looks great

Just when Chris Brown thought his past is dead and buried, it comes back from the grave to haunt him. This is not going to end well. I see Ike Turner 2. What a shame, he is talented.

  • 1991 UK Gem of Africa...

She is the one that got beat she can talk about it if she wants. A lot of people are acting like she is in the wrong. Come on now aside from RiRi and Chris B and them being celebrities its a serious thing and can follow you for the rest of your life.

If one of you women got beat, you wouldn’t want someone telling you,_just stop talking about it!

    • VirgoJewel

I personally, know several abuse victims- even one whose man beat her and left her wit and a incurable STD and even they don’t talk about that shti as much as this broad do.

    • nonymoussss

i actually agree.VirgoJewel. if there is one person i know who was a victim of DV. its my Mother. and she does not/never talked abut it. even today, now that i’m an adult. she just wont discuss it with anyone. so it does make me wonder why she(Rhi) feels the need to discuss it so much, or ever. most times privacy is an issue in situations like this.or simply just trying really hard to distance your self from the situation that happened 2 days, 5 months. 2 years ago… the fact that she responds to any question regarding the “incident” at all, is very interesting… i’m not judging her. and just like must sensible human beings, i dont condone what happened. based on what “we know”…but like someone above said. her fame has benefited more from this than ever before. and this is what she is riding/milking to get to where she is going. its pretty sad and just lame. again another person said. the other women who are part of the statistics are not being given interviews and being recognised single handedly because of “their incidents”…its pretty irritating. i wonder whos lips Rihanna’s name would have been on, if 2 years ago didnt happen…

I wonder what her a$$ looks like in that dress she’s wearing on the cover… Seriously, I do… I know she doesn’t have much of an a$$ but I believe it would look good in that dress…

Hmmm, wear would you wear something like that???

    Just thinking out loud…

  • wtf!

So tired of this sh!t! Every day, every hour, every minute, even as i speek a woman is been abused by her husband, her boyfriend, her partner. They are the nameless, and they will not get an award for woman of the year. When are we going to stop acting as if Rihann, is the first and only woman ever been abused by her boyfriend? Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate Rihanna, it’s been two years now..are they (CB /Rihanna) to ride this for the next five years? Unfortunatly, this a$$ult has giving her more fame than her music. Sad but true.

By no means do I condone abused. And yes she was the one who was attact, and she’s the one with the scars. But at some point in their lives they have to move on. How long should the public throw her a pitty party? I throw her a pitty pary for a hole year. Now I am done.

  • purple love

She asking for a pity party? I don’t see it and it barely seems like she cares about the “beating” but more about her fkkd up father and that was like 1 page of the interview its like 4 pages no1 curr about that sh!t from 2 years ago

  • thesaneone

u guys treat her like she didnt really get beat by her boyfriend. maybe it makes you made because it is a constant reminder that chris brown isnt perfect. but really, how can you tell her to STOP taling about it? she doesnt even talk bad about chris. u guys are really ignorant.

  • sheer1

That is a beautiful cover. Rihana is gorgeous as usual. I hated hearing that her dad is “pimping” her. She seems to love the man, thats got to be tough.

What I got from the Chris brown thing being brought up yet again, was that she learned a lesson, even though it was a hard one.

Unfortunately some women take years to let those kinda lessons sink in or are dead before they get that chance.

  • Nicole

Can you say focus. Like she said everything other than what she is doing and what she is focused on is noise, you people can call her whatever you want, you can hate her, you can talk about her hair, about her being violated domestically or whatever else, it is noise to her, she feeds off of it and keeps moving, you folks will never get it, the hate fuels her to be better. Love it.

  • eleanor

She CANT sing man the only reason she’s famous cuz of the incident …i give you 2 or 3 years rihanna then you will be forgotten…

  • Blue Moon

Ppl Need to stop tellin her to STFU about her beating..until u have been abused and suffered the physical.emotional and mental effect that it has on u FOREVER how about u STFU and have a seat!!! N its not like she walked oin there n started talking about it,they asked her about it!! Ppl jus thnk coz it was 2 years ago she needs to leave it alone..this is something she will carry around for as long as she is on dis earth..she will AlWAYS be regarded as a VICTIM..*smh* if u get beaten or sum1 close to u duz u will be singing a different tune..

  • CUT the BULLSH!T

Interview with Rihanna at age 82:

“Well, you know Chris Brown beat me back in 09….yeah, it was six decades ago, but yeah, he beat me!”

    • JustAshley

LOL! Its like that girlfriend who constantly talks about that ex who dogged her. How many times can we hear the story without our ears starting to bleed?

  • CUT the BULLSH!T

And I think what she’s leaving out is that she probably started it all……and that she was probably swinging and screaming and yelling as well……doing an excellent job of playing the victim so that her stans, I mean, her worshippers, I mean, her butt-lickers can feel all the more sorrier for her……
