SMH: Wankster Falls To His Death After Using A Tree As A Break-In Aid
We hate to speak ill of the dead, but what the hell was THIS dude thinking??
A tree-climbing bandit attempting to break into a Brooklyn home Thursday died after a branch snapped and sent him plummeting to the ground, police said.
The 33-year-old somehow got onto the roof of the three-story Bushwick building and made a leap toward the tree shortly before 9 a.m., cops said.
Investigators say they believe the man was trying to use the tree to break into an apartment in the Chauncey St. building, sources said.
But the weak branch couldn’t support the would-be burglar and he fell to the ground when it broke.
The man died at the scene. Police withheld his name, pending notification of his family.
Insert your “tree grows in Brooklyn” joke here… just to deal with the absurdity of this whole story.
