Simon Cowell Hires Paula Abdul To Judge His New Show, X Factor

Looks like Paula Abdul can turn in her EBT cards and get wasted on expensive alcohol instead of 40 ounces, now.

Abdul’s former homie and nemesis, Simon Cowell has managed to find success after Idol, which is much more than can be said for Paula. She better thank her lucky stars that Simon is a forgiving man, because he wants her to come in and be one of the judges for the U.S. version of the British show X Factor. She’ll be joined by L.A. Reid and British singer Cheryl Cole as judges of new musicians trying to get their shine on.

Who has dibs on how long this will last? Didn’t Simon and Paula hate each other last we checked? And what’s the blood alcohol level necessary to be a decent judge? These are important questions!
