Captured Serbian War Lord Denies Ordering The Death Of 8,000 Muslims

On Monday, Mladic’s family attempted to pursue a Serbian court order for an independent medical checkup to counter Friday’s decision that Mladic is fit to stand trial. “His basic human rights are being violated,” his son, Darko Mladic, said.
Ratko Mladic’s lawyer, Milos Saljic, said: “It is impossible to talk to him sensibly about usual things, to talk about his defense case … He is really in bad shape psychologically.”
On Tuesday, the order was repealed and Friday’s court proceedings were officially confirmed.
