It’s been a long, crazy road of drama for the Miami Heat. Ultimately, they succumbed to the attention and disappointed, but hey, it was a fun ride while it lasted. Here’s a visual trip down memory lane.
It all started with LeBron’s decision. He was taking his talents to South Beach and the world got ready to see what he and his new team had to offer. By the way, this was easily the most self-indulgent piece of television any athlete has ever produced. And that includes T.O. and his craziness.
Right after the Decision, Two and a Half Men threw a freaking pre-season parade as if they’d already won the damn championship. Then LeBron promised to win half a dozen titles. Not this year, buddy.
The season got off to a rocky start, with the Heat having trouble closing out teams. People said LeBron couldn’t close out games. They had no idea that this was just the tip of the iceberg. As stress built, his hairline went away.
As the Heat’s tough regular season continues, Coach Spoelstra said that one team member was crying in the locker room. We’re sure exactly who that was but…we bet he looks like an Avatar.
The whole time, Bosh was in the news for his baby momma drama. We were just surprised that he actually had a baby momma. We shudder to imagine his O-face.
In the middle of the late-season losing streak, Wade complained about the “hate,” going on a post-game press conference “woe is me” rant talking about the whole world being happy the Heat lost. Where’s that tiny State Farm violin from Bron’s commercial?
Despite the rough regular season, the Heat tore through the Eastern Conference and people *cough Scottie Pippen cough* even compared Bron to Jordan. Blasphemy!
When the Finals came, Bron showed his true itchbaymade colors, choking away game after game by playing like a punk in the fourth quarter of every game. It’s the biggest fail we’ve seen in a looooong time.
Of course, when Bron plays poorly, it clearly means that someone is smanging a woman close to him. This time, the rumor was that Rashard Lewis was chopping down his girlfriend. We don’t know if this is true, but Bron better keep his chicks in check.
To make matters worse, Bron and Wade went on TV making fun of Dirk Nowitzki, acting like he faked his cough. Then, of course, they lost every damn game since then. Maybe they were practicing their choke…which they mastered.
Then, after losing the Finals, Bron went on national television and basically talked about how much he loved his life because he was richer than the rest of us bums. Oh well, we got the same number of rings, kid.
Finally…pictures like this came out and the Internet became a better place.
