You’ve probably noticed that we haven’t seen much of Kimsha Artest or Tanya Young-Williams on Angry Birds Of L.A. since the first episode.

Apparently, that has nothing to do with how much Kimsha and Tanya were around during the taping. As a matter of fact, Kimsha seemed as surprised as the rest of us. And made it clear how she felt about that.

According to a source close to the show, the cast was advised early on not to mention Tanya during tapings since she wouldn’t be around for the duration. But the source claims no such warning was given about Kimsha, who should have appeared on the show steadily until the final few episodes, during which she was noticeably absent dealing with her daughter’s illness.

The “Kimsha Artest” Facebook fan page has since disappeared. And Ron “We’re Not Calling You Metta Nothin'” Artest jumped in to do some damage control.

Not a whole lot. Surprised?

As for Kimsha and Tanya’s presence on future episodes? No one knows for sure, but wee did notice a few interesting clues on the Basketball Wives L.A. page on VH1’s website…

We didn’t pay it much attention before, but if you notice the cast photo, which is usually taken right before the season starts, neither Kimsha nor Tanya made the official photoshoot. Kimsha did, at least, get this shot, which still appears on the site along with a castmember bio.

As for Tanya, had you never watched the first couple of episodes, you would get no indication from the Basketball Wives page that she ever existed.
