Momma always said “don’t play with God”. Clearly these celebrities never heard of that.
Whether it’s Jay-Z calling himself “Hova” or Lady Gaga doing…whatever it is she does, people have been effing with God for ages. If he ever comes and starts striking people down Old Testament style, here are a few stars that might want to take cover.
Nas – In Nas’ first song, he talked about knocking Jesus out. Then he went and posed as Jesus on the cross for his “Hate Me Now” video. Yeah, that was taking it a few steps too far Nasir!
Tupac – Remember this? Right after Pac’s death, this album cover hit depicting him on the cross. If he were alive when this came out, can you imagine the backlash he would have gotten?
Triple H – He’s been running around the WWE calling himself the King of Kings. That’s reserved for one person, Hunter! Of course, we’re not going to tell him that to his face. But we’ll say it right here.
Jay-z – “The God MC, me Jay-Hova” and with that line, Jigga took his cockiness to a whole other level. Since then, he’s been calling himself “Hov” and “Hova” like he actually thinks he’s God or something. Illuminati powers can’t save you from that, Camel.
Rakim – Dude called himself “Rakim Allah”. Unless there’s some other meaning, this is a bit blasphemous for all the Muslim brothers and sisters out there. Rakim is a legendary MC, but this is a bad move.
Tim Tebow Fans – They’ve started going around with “Jesus” on their Tim Tebow jerseys and it’s pissed off some religious groups. We get it, Tebow is a beloved QB with a heart of gold. But you’re taking it a bit far, Denver.
Lil B – This clown loves to push the envelope. And he’s famous for a song that says “hoes on my d*** cuz I look like Jesus”. And he’s had a ton of pictures depicting him as some sort of religious figure. Basically he’s a no-talent attention slore. So that’s that.
Lady Gaga – She’s always pushing the envelope and running around like a slutty nun in her video. It angered a lot of people, including Katy Perry. We wouldn’t be surprised if she takes it all a step further.
Madonna – Well, what would you expect from someone that named herself Madonna? She’s constantly finding a way to upset Christinas and make The Pope want to smack her. And this cross look was just another example.
