Another Day, Another Divorce: NFL Great Barry Sanders Files For Divorce From Wife Of Over 10 Years
It’s divorce season folks….
Barry Sanders is seeking a divorce from his wife of more than 10 years, TV anchor Lauren Campbell-Sanders. The former Detroit Lions running back filed for divorce Friday in Oakland County Circuit Court. The couple were married in November 2000 and have three children, according to the complaint. They live in West Bloomfield Township.
Sanders, 43, said in the filing that there has been a breakdown in the marital relationship, and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved. Sanders is seeking that the parties be awarded joint custody of their children, ages 4, 8 and 10.
Sanders said in the filing that he intends to pay child support. He wants to see his wife continue to maintain the children’s health insurance coverage and pay their health care expenses. Campbell-Sanders is an anchor on WDIV-Channel 4. She could not immediately be reached for comment.
Well at least he intends on paying child support.
