SMH at this….

A Colorado first grader was suspended for sexual harassment after reciting a lyric from a popular LMFAO song, “S**y and I know it,” to a female classmate. D’Avonte Meadows, 6, says he and the girl were standing in line for lunch when he decided to quote the song’s titular line: “I’m s**y and I know it.”

His mother said she couldn’t believe her son got sent home from school for merely reciting the song. “I could understand if he was fondling her, looking up her skirt, trying to look in her shirt. That, to me, is sexual harassment,” the boy’s mother, Stephanie Meadows, told Denver’s ABC 7 News. “I mean, I’m just floored. They’re going to look at him like he’s a pervert. And it’s like, that’s not fair to him”

The first grader is a special needs student who got into trouble last month for quoting the same song lyric to the same classmate, KMGH-TV reported. The school district issued a statement saying it was unable to comment on D’Avonte’s suspension. “We have policies and protocol in place to prevent any disruption to the learning environment,” spokeswoman Paula Hans wrote. “Due to privacy laws, we are unable to discuss appropriate disciplinary consequences about a specific student.”

Really though???
