INMATE Attacks Deputy, Tries To Escape Wrong Door

Cons are convicts for a reason:

Surveillance video has captured the moment an escaping jail inmate picked the wrong door and burst into a Kentucky courtroom that was in-session on Monday morning.

He man, who was not identified, wrestled one sheriff’s deputy then ran about 20 feet before a crowd of court bailiffs tackled him to the ground.

The scuffle sent the shocked lawyers and defendants in the ongoing case running for cover.

However, one attorney appears to pile onto the escapee and helped capture him.

Authorities say the man had already appeared in court earlier in the day and was being kept in a hold cell at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Louisville

When a deputy tried to put another inmate in the cell, the man charged and knocked the sheriff’s officer out of the way.

In his attempt to escape, the man crashed through a door and rushed into a courtroom.

The video shoes the judge on the bench, stunned.

The man immediately begins fighting with the sheriff’s deputy who was standing at the door.

After a few steps into the courtroom, a crowd of deputies piled onto him and brought him under control as he shouted unintelligibly.

Authorities say no one in the courthouse was in danger from the escape.

The man now faces charges of attempted escape and assaulting a police officer.
