Roc-A-Fella records turned Roc Nation front runner Jay-z looks to be building an empire full of female artists from every genre of music and corner of the world.
The Roc Nation roster is overflowing with female bangers, either signed to or managed by the label and it’s head honcho Hov. But much like fellow NY record exec extraordinaire Diddy and his here-today-gone-tomrrow line-up of hopeful has-beens and one-hit-wonders over at Bad Boy, female artists under the reign of the throne don’t have the best track record.
