Kimora Lee Simmons and Sun Capital Partners founder Marc Leder spent so much time cozying up in St. Barts, some assumed the two were dating. She was on the tony island with her children, but was also spotted cavorting with party-loving Leder, who recently fathered a love child with a New York woman. Leder and Kimora have been connected since 2008, when Sun Capital bought Kellwood, which owned her clothing companies Baby Phat and Phat Farm. A rep for Kimora said they “have been friends and business associates for many years.”

But it looks like the baller play-boy is quite familiar with Kimora and all her famous exs…

Private-equity party boy Marc Leder is billing his stay on St. Barts this week as “Event Week 2011/2012,” according to a rundown of Leder’s parties that’s floating around the island. The Sun Capital Partners honcho has hired party planner Amir Benesh to set up day-and-night bacchanals at his beachfront estate, including one tomorrow touted as the “Famous BBQ Pool Party.” Benesh runs Models-Promo.com, which, its Web site says, offers models, cocktail waitresses, DJs and even fire dancers for shindigs. Rap mogul Russell Simmons attended Leder’s welcome bash Monday with his girlfriend, Australian actress Melissa George. And Simmons’ ex-wife, Kimora Lee, and her husband, Djimon Hounsou, also attended the party.

Kimora sure does know how to get it where she fits in. Whether it’s the swirl or back with the brothas, Kimora only sees green. Dolla dolla bills y’all!
