A teen was killed and three men were injured in separate attacks on the South Side Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, police said.

The 17-year-old boy killed was shot this evening near 70th Street and Stony Island Avenue and pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital about 8:30 p.m. He was shot in the hip by someone who approached him on foot.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the boy as Leonard Anderson, of the 7200 block of South Bennett Street
