10 Famous Ghost Writers And The Music They Wrote

Spoiler alert: most people don’t write their own music. Instead, they get other people to do it for them. They use famous musicians or regular Joes but the fact remains, ghost writing is a lucrative business. Here are some ghost writers and projects you may not know they did.

Jay Z – Most people know he wrote “Forgot About Dre” for Dr. Dre but did you know he wrote Bug Bunny’s verse on the Space Jam soundtrack? Mind. Blown.

Nas – He wrote most of Will Smith’s Big Willie Style album. No wonder it didn’t suck so bad.

Ludacris – He wrote some of Dr. Dre’s music for his Detox album that we’ll never, ever see again.

T.I. – So did T.I.

Jay Electronica – Rumors had it that Jay wrote some of Nas’ lyrics for his Untitled album…why would Nas need a ghost writer though?

Lil Wayne – If Birdman raps it, then Lil Wayne wrote it. At least he used to.
