Being no stranger to the Hip Hop world, Karrine Steffans has no plans of slowing down anytime soon with the new year approaching. The former “video vixen” stopped by the 106 KMEL studios while out in the Bay Area with director TAJ for an exclusive candid interview with our own Shay Diddy, as the two discussed Karrine’s relationship with Lil Wayne and also her tips on how to keep a man.
Earlier this month, Karrine and Lil Wayne made headlines as it seemed that the two had officially ended their longstanding love affair and have went their separate ways. During the interview, Karrine opened up to Shay about her relationship with rapper Lil Wayne, and how he inspired her to write ‘How To Make Love To A Martian’, especially since he was going through some health issues at the time. While the two are no longer together, she maintained that the two will “always be friends” and she’ll always have a love for him.
With a handful of books under her belt, Karrine has plans to continue building her empire and expanding her “Confessions” franchise. She reveals to Shay that in 2014, she has books lined up for release through her publishing company, including some comic books, a new dating/relationship series in relation to interior design, and a cookbook. Additionally, she’s been in the talks with Fox Television Network on a “Confessions of a Video Vixen” series, which will hopefully be making its way to your TV screens soon. However, don’t expect her to make any appearances on the show.
