R&B bad boy Chris Brown is still on a quest to turn his life around and redeem his public image.

Breezy has been away at “anger management” rehab for a few months and now that his rehab stint is nearing it’s final stages he has reportedly requested to stay longer.

Chris Brown is said to be ‘extending his stay’ in rehab.

Despite the fact he recently completed his court-ordered 90 days treatment for anger management issues, it has been reported that the 24-year-old R&B star has decided to prolong his stay.

‘It was his choice,’ a source close to the musician told E! News. ‘He will come out soon.’

However, conflicting reports also state that Breezy was ORDERED by a judge to extend his stay, rather than it being voluntary.

A source tells E! News exclusively that even though the R&B superstar has completed his court-ordered 90 days in rehab, a judge ordered him to stay at the facility for further treatment. Brown’s rep declined to comment.

The 24-year-old was on hand on Friday evening when he was honored by 2nd Call, an L.A. community group, for his work with the organization and his own Symphonic Love Foundation and Unity Campaign.

The “Love More” singer appeared to be in “good spirits” as he smiled and greeted people who came up to his table,” the source added. He spent roughly a half hour posing for photos with people and was seen shaking hands with other guests.

Brown was spotted listening intently to all the speeches and his speech was very short, about a minute.

He thanked 2nd Call for all their work and spoke about wanting to do more charity work with them in the future.
