Whoopi Goldberg will be involved in a new reality series starring her daughter, Alex Martin. Whoopi will wear the hat as executive producer this time around. The series will be developed by 44 Blue Productions and Whoopi’s company, One Ho Productions. The docu-series will be family oriented, centering around Alex and her attempts to reinvent herself, both personally and professionally. The cast will include Alex’s husband, Bernard, their best friends Leisa and Ron and Alex’s three children—one of which has recently moved back home with her fiancé and newborn baby. Stephanie Drachkovitch, the Executive Vice President of 44 Blue Productions said,“To say that Alex has a gift for frankness and humor is an understatement and she clearly comes by it honestly,” “Plenty of women face similar family dynamics, but they find support from their families and friends – in this case it’s Alex’s BFF since high school, Leisa. They keep each other honest and real!”

Diggy Simmons & Get Schooled Surprise 10th Grader Scholar In Class [Photos]

Diggy Simmons partnered up with Get Schooled, a nonprofit organization who dedicates their time into helping teens get over the hump and graduate high school unscathed. Alexandra Christopher is a tenth grader who submitted to the Times Square Yearbook and during her Language Arts class yesterday on May 8, a camera crew and Diggy burst into the room to surprise the young scholar. She did a recap on Twitter saying, “So.. I was sitting in class making a rap for when we graduate in 2 years… And my teacher’s all like ‘You have to do it for the principal!’ And I turn back around.. And see Diggy Simmons walking through the door… I seemed to be the only really hype one… Cause I was the only one that screamed.. So he comes all up like asking who’s Alexandra.. So I’m sitting there shocked and stuff.. And only had the ability to point to myself..” Its good seeing people of the celebrity status giving back and showing love to others. Diggy comes from a good family that has always been very humble in doing non profit favors so good job Diggy.
