Bobby Shmurda could potentially be released from prison next month if he can keep out of trouble.
After news of his release broke, footage documenting Rowdy Rebel’s release quickly surfaced showing his loved ones all celebrating with him as he left the facility. The Bobby Shmurda affiliated rapper was released from prison Tuesday after serving four years for a gun and weapons charge dating back to 2016.
Board members denied the rapper’s release because he’s had “multiple” violations in jail, which allegedly includes drug possession, fighting, and having a shank.
