Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan filed a civil rights lawsuit claiming their lives were endangered after fatally shooting Rayshard Brooks. The special prosecutor has not charged them yet and they are both still Atlanta PD cops.
The widow of Rayshard Brooks, is suing the city of Atlanta and the officers involved in his killing, Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan. The suit claims Rolfe refused to offer medical aid to Brooks and kicked him after shooting him twice in the back.
Fulton County D.A., Fani Willis wants a new prosecutor on the Rayshard Brooks shooting case. The move was prompted when the prosecutor, Paul Howard, violated Georgia Bar rules by using the video of Brooks' shooting in his campaign ad.
