As soon as news of Bin Laden’s death hit the world, everyone wondered, “what does this mean for us?” Of course, the initial fear was if we’d be safe against other retaliatory terrorist attacks. Then, we wanted to know about the other important issue we’re all facing: gas prices!

Immediately after the news broke, crude oil in Asia fell. Then, by the time this morning came around, gas went back up. In fact, thanks to the possibility of retaliation, gas prices could even go up now that Bin Laden’s gone.
