Celebrity Election Activists

With one month left until election day, the 2012 presidential candidates need all the help that they can get to bring it home and claim a white house victory.

While the majority of Money Mitt’s heavyweight endorsements are said to come from the banking industry and President Obama notorious for celebrity endorsers, both candidates have accumulated their fair share of A-listers who aren’t afraid to get involved and use their celebrity status for a good cause by getting as many people as possible registered and informed.

Check out a few Hollyweirders who have been blazing the campaign trail right along with their candidate of choice.

Nia long has taken part in several voter registration drives and come out publicly in support of President Obama.


Kerry Washington spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention and Usher is a 2-term supporter of President Obama.


Stacey Dash recently shocked many of her followers by endorsing Mitt Romney and blasting President Obama over women’s issues.


Rocsi Diaz is a panelist on the League of Young Voters “Ignite 2012”  presidential election debate panel that keeps voters informed and encourages youth participation and discussion of important political issues surrounding the election.


Jennifer Hudson recently performed at a fundraiser for President Obama.


Eva Longoria spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
