Word is, MJ may be dying from a rare lung condition:
Michael Jackson is suffering from a rare lung condition and needs to undergo an emergency transplant operation, according to a report that continues to gain steam. And his normally outspoken publicist hasn’t denied the allegations.
The King of Pop may even be fighting for his life, New York Times bestselling biographer Ian Halperin tells In Touch magazine and Britain’s Sunday Express newspaper.
Halperin, author of such tomes as “Love & Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain” and “Stalking Britney: Under Siege With Britney Spears,” says Jackson has been diagnosed with Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, an occasionally fatal genetic condition. “He’s had it for years but it’s gotten worse,” Halperin told In Touch. “He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it.
He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. It’s the bleeding that is the most problematic part. It could kill him.” According to Halperin, Jackson “can barely speak” and is having trouble seeing: “The vision in his left eye is 95 percent gone.”
Jackson, who has lived largely out the public eye in recent years, shocked fans in July when he was photographed in wheelchair. The 50-year-old also received help walking when stepped out in Los Angeles earlier this month wearing a Zorro-style face mask.
Jackson’s rep was unavailable for comment Sunday, but the singer’s brother Jermaine didn’t deny the reports, telling Fox News, “He’s not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.”
Damn. Say it isn’t so. We can’t help but to wonder if all that plastic surgery skin bleaching worsened the situation. Regardless, we wish MJ well. In other news from NeverLand, while the rest of the family is drowning in poverty, ole Mike’s bought this lavish mansion in Holmby Hills. Guess that glove money served as a nice down payment.

Nina im doomed I have a health food store right across the street from me with loose herbs, tincures and everything you could want. I can’t go in there on payday cause I will come out broke. I do wish the man well, I mean it would be evil to wish death or pain on someone but I also agree that his illnesses could have been self induced with all of the crap he has done to alter his image. What was wrong with staying black, even if it meant patchy pink skin here and there? I know several people with vitiligo who just live with it, they don’t buy lace front wigs (for the silky white look) and bleach their skin to pink (for the silky white look)… Oh well, hope he recovers from whatever it is this time.

of course i feel bad, i have literrally grew up on michaels music, but im being realistic, his health issues may have come to light because of his chioce in the way he wanted to appear. i mean i feel bad, but all tose surgery and medications he took over the years were elective choices and now he may be suffering serious illness due to that, i guess us living in todays time need to consider that, since plastic surgery is the new it thing to do!

He used to be so handsome when he sang with his brothers and grew up to be good looking young man in the late 70s/early 80s. Something went wrong around Thriller…I don’t know if the fame got to him or what, but clearly at some point he realized that being black wasn’t beautiful anymore, even though he was a beautiful looking black man, and started to knife himself up to look up. Very sad…

Michael if U or any of your people ever read this please understand that I loved Michael growing up as a kid…I was scared out of my mind @ the Block Party premier of “Thriller” and I had a childhood crush on U also…
Now after saying all of that…
U know that I grew up in GI and I graduated from the same high school U got recognize in Roosevelt High…our city and school felt “white flight” in a horrible way during the 90’s and I didn’t ever see anything U did, but come back in’03 and bought some locals some chicken (I said ***** U and didn’t bother to show, but I’m sure U didn;t lost any sleep). some no-one ask what have I done for my community:
I marched for non-violence when our city was the murder capital in the 90’s
I tried to actually become an actress or model to give back
I still talk and help the children and young adults @ the church I attend down here in Georgia
I know I get raw on here, but I’m not going to apologize…different things affects different people and childhood is an un-going struggle U deal with for the rest of your life so if I have a problem with Michael the little diva on his death bed than so be it…I bet none of U all ever been in his fathers house in Las Vegas…I have and I saw how crazy he looked in real life picture, but that’s for another day.
I do value life and I hope he gets beter or get his original nose back…
