“Seasons Change” was one of Expose’s songs. The Good Girls were kind of one-hit wonders, I think — They had that one song, Your Sweetness. I remember their performance at the Apollo, and they had on Catholic school-like tops and miniskirts.

It’s pretty sad how dark faces are left out. Why are we so afraid of what we originally looked like. There is a war agianst blackness. WE HATE IT! Thanks Vogue for reminding America just how much work has to be done when it comes to skin-color issues. Light, bright, damn near white. We’re told to just be happy for them but that does not solve the issue of why dark skinned blacks are constantly left out and discriminated against. Actually anyone who preaches the rhetoric like “they’re black too” or “just be be happy THEY were recognized” or “if you complain you are letting the white man win according to willie lynch” is making excuses! We were separated by skin color and we should heal by it. Why can’t we just include dark skin and nappy hair and black looks?
