Queen Bey will not only snatch your edges but knows how to help you get them back. Beyoncé recently gave $7 Million to St. John’s Downtown in Houston to help feed the homeless and hungry all over her home-state of Texas. That’s big!!
Taylor Swift
Swift might not know how to keep a man but she sure can keep a charity funded. The singer gave $500k to Hands on Nashville the Community Foundation of Middle Tennesee for Nashville’s flood relief efforts, $25,000 to the Wyomissing, PA school district for educational $100,000 check to rebuild Kids Kingdom, a playground in Hendersonville, Tennesee where she attended high school.
Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo is a baller with a big heart and wallet! The Knicks player established the Carmelo Anthony Foundation whose grants include $500,000 to Syracuse University and $302,000 to The Living Classroom Foundation.
Will and Jada Smith
This couple knows how to give big! To the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation; grants included $126,000 to the Lupus Foundation, $200,000 to the Baltimore School for the Arts, and $52,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Ndamukong Suh
The NFL baller gave over $2 million in 2012. Suh donated to the Nebraska University athletic department and another $600,000 to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering to endow a scholarship. It is the largest single gift ever from a former football player.
