Tristan Walker Talks About His Startup Walker And Co, Hiring Diverse Talent And Creating Products For Minorities
It’s no secret that Silicon Valley is a very white/male dominated environment, but we wanted to make sure you know about Tristan Walker, he’s one of the rising stars to come out of the tech industry and last year he launched his startup Walker and Company, which is introducing a very unique line of personal care products designed for the severely underserved African-American and minority consumer market. We love what they’re doing with their first product – Bevel (men who get razor bumps will understand how important this product is!) we also have to give Walker props for hiring great talent, many who also happen to be women and men of color.
