Tyra Racks Up Second Emmy Nomination

Former supermodel turned media mogal Tyra Banks has a lot going on these days. Her highly rated talk show, “The Tyra Banks Show,” was just nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for outstanding talk show (informative.)

In the midst of that news, Banks just announced New Jersey’s own, 20-year old Teyona Anderson is her pick for the latest “America’s Next Top Model.” But with all the good news comes a little drama. ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova revealed on the “Late Late Show” last night that she was fired from the modeling show, accoridng to the Los Angeles Times. Porizkova said she’s in L.A. looking for a new gig and was fired from the program on April 9 (her birthday) because the producers felt she has an ego problem. No comment so far from the show’s producers.–WLW

Congratulations are in order even though we don’t understand how many more shows she can produce about sex workers, black women and hair issues and beauty secrets from around the world.
