South Daytona Pig Fired After This Video Goes Viral Showing Him Beating A Handcuffed Suspect [Video]
A South Daytona police officer has been fired for using excessive force. Detective John Pickett, now a former detective, was caught on video in January slapping Parker Beasley, who was handcuffed in the back seat of a cruiser. Pickett said Beasley spat upon him, sparking the incident. Pickett is now facing battery charges.
