Why You’re Not Getting That Text-Back Love
Your bae seems to be having some issues texting you back in a timely fashion and you’re feeling a way about it. You probably should just ask them what the problem is, but if you won’t do that, keep clicking for some reasons why they’re leaving you hanging.

Okay so maybe they are busy. If they’re preoccupied with something else they may not be looking at their phone.

You like them more than they like you so they hit you back when they feel like it.
They don’t feel like talking. Maybe you’re a chatty Cathy and bae doesn’t feel like the back and forth.
They don’t understand what you’re saying or what you asked. Sometimes people just ignore texts rather than ask you to clarify.

You’re boring. If you’re texts are dry and uninteresting they may not get replied to.

They are a horrible communicator. Some people are just bad at keeping up chats and texts.
They don’t want to appear thirsty. No matter how stupid it is not to express your feelings to someone you like, people today hold back and play games anyway.

They need to re-press send. Sometimes technology is not on our side and that message is sitting there typed but unsent.

They forgot to reply. Humans can be absentminded. Sometimes a person reads a text, gets distracted and totally forgets to write back.
They’re playing games on the phone. Your bae might be in the middle of a mean game of Ruzzle so your text reply will have to wait.

They’re in class. Just because you don’t pay attention in school and text and look at social media all day doesn’t mean they do. Bae is trying to get their learn on and isn’t on the phone.
They’re in the gym. Bae is working on their abs so when they do see you, they’re looking right. Can’t text back while you’re doing cardio.

They’re at work. Some people actually have jobs that don’t allow them to stare at their phones 24-7. Bae is trying to stack paper right now.

Your messages are too long. Bae doesn’t feel like reading all that. So they don’t reply so that you don’t send more.

Your text wasn’t about food or sex. This is what is looking for mostly. You didn’t hit the key points so they did not reply.

They’re nervous. If this is a new bae, they may be very nervous to communicate with you. Sometimes the long reply time is just them stalling because they don’t know what to say.

They don’t want to have to report to you. Depending on what you’re texting, you may come off like you’re controlling. If bae feels like you want them to constantly check in, they may ignore your texts.
They’re booed up. Some people cannot multitask. If bae is with someone else at the moment, they may not see your text or may not be comfortable replying.
They’re going to call you instead. Some people are simply not into texting but they will talk.
