Omyn Newkirk Says Kayla Phillips Planned Pregnancy To Trap Desean Jackson
Desean Jackson’s pregnant girlfriend targeted the NFL player and planned to get knocked up so she could use the baby as her meal ticket.
That’s according to Kayla Phillips’ first son’s father, who said she did the same thing to him, only ditching him when he stopped playing college football. Omyn Newkirk said his son’s mother is a professional gold digger who has used sex and her good looks to get ahead.
“She’s trying to portray herself as this innocent girl who got pregnant by Desean Jackson,” Newkirk told BOSSIP. “She’s a money-hungry female who’ll probably do anything —and I mean anything—to be part of someone with a little bit of money. She’s willing to trap whoever.”

Newkirk said Phillips, 24, had flings with August Alsina, the Buffalo Bills’ Tyrod Taylor and Wale, and that she’s been angling for a big fish to hook ever since she came out of their Virginia hometown.
“She’s been having sex with different people to get to where she is,” Newkirk told BOSSIP. “She was doing whatever she had to do to get to the top.”

Kayla and her pregnancy have been heavily featured on Jackson’s new reality show, “Desean Jackson: Home Team” on BET, where Jackson said the pair have been together for six months. The couple hosted their baby shower in California over the weekend.
Newkirk, 24, said every time Phillips goes off with one of these guys, she pawns their son off to her mother instead of allowing the boy to spend time with his father. Under the terms of their court order, he gets the boy one weekend a month.
“You’re throwing him off to your mom, so you can come up, and meet the next NFLer or rap star?” Newkirk said. “If she’s going to be (keeping) him out of her life, she should give him to me.”
We’ve reached out to Phillips for comment.
Newkirk said he and Phillips were high school sweethearts, he was a football player, she was a cheerleader. He said his mother even bought her prom dress because her family couldn’t afford it. Phillips later gave birth to their son, and they remained together through some of their college years.
But all that changed once he stopped playing college football. Newkirk said Phillips ditched him and began chasing other ballers.
“I don’t wanna say she trapped me, but she trapped me,” Newkirk told us. “I had every college in the state wanting me to go to their school. I had a lot of NFL (interest at that time).”
And he had some choice words for Phillips’ new boo Jackson:
“My advice to that dude is to get a blood test on that kid they’re having,” Newkirk said. “She’s been with him for six months? She was just with Emanuel Hudson (from MTV’s Wild N Out) last year.”
