Zendaya Responds To Criticism Over Her Comments On Being Biracial
Zendaya recently got BLASTED on Twitter after Complex ran their story on the 18-year-old they’ve lauded as one of their “Women Of Next Year.”
After the mag’s Twitter account pulled a quote from the interview where she spoke on the “gray area” that comes with being biracial…

fans went IN on the actress/songstress for seemingly disowning her black heritage.

I wanted Zendaya to be better than this, but alas, she's been brainwashed by the new black ideology. They got another one. Damn.

Though Zendaya has light skin privilege due to colorism. She's still a black girl in the eyes of the white supremacist society we live in.

If it's 'hard for you to see color' how can you be a Black activist @Zendaya?

Zendaya has since clapped back and noted that while she sees a “gray area” because of her biracial heritage, she also explained in the article that she considers herself African-American.
