NeNe Leakes And Sheree Whitfield Speak On Rekindling Their Friendship

Remember when we told you that Cynthia Bailey released a Bravo blog where she scrambled to explain why she denied being besties with Kenya Moore???

Well while many are speculating that she did so to make amends with NeNe Leakes, it looks like NeNe’s got another close friend nearby; Sheree Whitfield.

After things reached a breaking point between the two on RHOA season 4 with those “fix that face, fix that body” disses, it looks like Sheree and NeNe are back to being good friends.

NeNe tells Bravo: 

I certainly wiped the slate clean where Sheree is concerned! I mean, I haven’t seen Sheree in years. Literally! We were really cool friends and had good times and good laughs together. We knew each other for years and never had an argument until the famous “fix that body, fix that face” moment, which broke us apart for years. We’ve both grown over those years and are in different places in our lives. It was good to catch up with her again.

Sheree tells Bravo: 

Bravotv.com: What went through your mind when NeNe Leakes surprised you all at dinner?
SW: #JAWDROPPING! LOL! I didn’t know what to think honestly. I hadn’t spoken to NeNe in over four years, so I wasn’t sure how things were going to play out.

Bravotv.com: Did you feel like you and NeNe truly wiped the slate clean?
SW: I honestly feel like we both wiped the slate clean. I am choosing to remain optimistic and take it day by day. What many people do not understand is that NeNe and I were friends far before #RHOA came into the picture. We shared some great times and really knew one another — the good, the bad, and the ugly! Through the fallout we still held those secrets close and maintained a mutual respect for one another, and that I applaud.

We embarked on this journey together along withKim Zolciak-Biermann,Lisa Wu Hartwell, and DeShawn Snow, not knowing where sharing our stories would lead us. That bond will always be shared amongst us five ladies, and we will always have certain level of respect for each other.

NeNe and Sheree were recently spotted celebrating Kenya Moore’s birthday together alongside Cynthia Bailey.
