The Game & Priscilla Rainey

Rapper Denies Abusing “She’s Got Game” Co-Star Priscilla Rainey

The Game has mounted a last ditch effort to get out of a $10 million default judgment in his civil sexual battery case.

Lawyers for the L.A. rapper asked a judge to set the default judgment aside because plaintiff Priscilla Rainey – his co-star in reality show “She’s Got Game” – never served him, according to facts alleged in court docs obtained by BOSSIP.

Rainey sued The Game after she said he abused her last May when she went out on an after-hours date with the rapper after filming the show. The woman said that she went to a local bar in Illinois where The Game was out of control and drunk and high.

She said that during the night The Game sexually assaulted her on several occasions, including him forcefully reaching his hand up her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks. The contestant explained she never gave him permission to touch her and she felt degraded by the unwanted touching.

A judge Feb. 1 ruled against The Game by default, because he never responded to the lawsuit.

But the rapper now claims that he never answered back because Rainey didn’t serve him properly. Rainey said in court docs that she tried to deliver her complaint to him more than 40 times, but The Game said that she only served the papers at his house and he’s often traveling to shows. He said Rainey’s efforts to serve his old lawyer and agent didn’t work because word never got back to him.

The Game’s lawyers said Rainey’s process server’s attempts to serve him during performances and appearances didn’t count either because The Game has security with him to keep the public away.

The rapper said he’s never tried to dodge service and if Rainey had done her homework, she could have served him at his gym or at the studio.

Further, The Game claims that just because he knew about Rainey’s lawsuit doesn’t mean Rainey is off the hook in serving him.

The rapper wants the default judgment tossed, and a judge is set to hear the case later today. What do you think about The Game’s sexual battery case?
