Damon Dash Skipped Child Support Court Friday
A Bronx Family Court judge shut down Damon Dash’s request to lower child support for his tween son – all because the music mogul never bothered to show up to court.
Judge Ann Loughlin denied Dash’s motion for child support modification Friday after neither he, nor his lawyer Natraj Bhushan turned up for a hearing on the request in the court’s child support division.
“There is no appearance, so I’m going to dismiss,” Judge Loughlin said. “The order of support is to continue.”
Judge Loughlin also extended Dash’s arrest warrant for nearly $122,000 in back child support and interest for the boy, known as Lucky.
“When and if the respondent is picked up in the matter, we will inform you…if you want him to be held,” Judge Loughlin told Lucky’s mom, Cindy.
