Damon Dash Skipped Child Support Court Friday

A Bronx Family Court judge shut down Damon Dash’s request to lower child support for his tween son – all because the music mogul never bothered to show up to court.

Judge Ann Loughlin denied Dash’s motion for child support modification Friday after neither he, nor his lawyer Natraj Bhushan turned up for a hearing on the request in the court’s child support division.

“There is no appearance, so I’m going to dismiss,” Judge Loughlin said. “The order of support is to continue.”

Judge Loughlin also extended Dash’s arrest warrant for nearly $122,000 in back child support and interest for the boy, known as Lucky.

“When and if the respondent is picked up in the matter, we will inform you…if you want him to be held,” Judge Loughlin told Lucky’s mom, Cindy.

Dame Dash

Dash has been on the run for nearly a year on two child support warrants. The other is for his ex-wife Rachel Roy, for more than $340,000 for child support, school and camp fees and for debts from their two foreclosed Manhattan homes. If he comes back to New York, he faces six months in jail on each warrant.

Donnell Suares, the attorney for Lucky’s mother, said the woman registered her case with interstate child support enforcement so she could get Dash arrested out of state, where he spends most of his time, but there’s an eight month backlog.

Suares said he planned to request that the judge enter a summary judgment for the six figures in child support Dash owes.

Dash now spends most of his time on the West Coast and in North Carolina, according to his Instagram.
