Beyoncé And Jay Z Lose Bidding War With Tom Ford For $50 Million L.A. Mansion
On the album Magna Carta Holy Grail song “Tom Ford” Jay Z once quipped:
“Clap for a n***a with his rappin’ azz, blow a stack for your n***as with your trappin’ azz”
Well, Mr. Z, that’s exactly what Mr. Ford did. He blew a stack. 50,000 stacks to be precise.
According to TMZ, the famed fashion designer bested the Carter’s $49 million offer for a Los Angeles-area mansion with a $50 million offer of his own.
Here are the specs on the crib:
14,000 square feet, sitting on 3.2 acres and has 9 bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms. It was built in 1934 and owned by the rich and famous, including actor William Powell and ‘James Bond’ producer Albert Broccoli.
This marks the second time that Jay and Bey lost out on a home due to a better offer.
