Gilbert Arenas Says He’s Paid Laura Govan More Than Courts Ordered And Never Abused Her
Looks like Gloria Govan isn’t the only one who needed to set the record straight. The morning after Gloria Govan denied Laura’s suggestion that she had dealings with the father of her sister’s kids, Gilbert Arenas jumped back on Instagram Thursday to dispute his ex-fianceé and the mother of their four children over comments she made about fearing her life like Nicole Brown Simpson:

Gilbert posted a court document detailing how he notified Laura when he had to take one of their sons to the ER, saying:

This is serious stuff. And anybody who saw ‘Gone Girl’ can understand why Gilbert may have a serious problem on his hands IF what Laura is saying isn’t true.

Many folks will recall that most people first learned of Laura and Gloria when Shaunie O’Neal launched the “Basketball Wives” reality show on the tail of rumors that her (then) estranged husband Shaquille O’Neal had slept with Laura. Over the years there have been many denials about that rumor, including Arenas’ own denial. So what is he really trying to say here?

In the meantime Laura seems to be completely ignoring the fallout from her radio show appearance and has been posting photos from the many nights out and red carpets that gilbert posted about.
You guys probably noticed Gil using the #InRealLife hashtag too… It happens to be the name of Laura’s clothing line. In the meantime Gloria has removed the post she made about her sister, so perhaps at least they’ll be able to mend fences.
