People just can’t wait to come to Taylor Swift’s defense when it comes to her and her lying about Kanye West. It’s almost as if she has White privilege…no? Anyway. The Independent ran a story on Chris Brown’s comments about the Taylor Swift/Kanye situation and they decided to use the picture of him in court right next to a smiling picture of Taylor Swift.
Now we’re the last people to go all caping for Chris Brown but this is at the very least a microaggression and coded language. At worst it’s straight-up racist. We weren’t the only people who noticed. Take a look at the backlash…
